I've seen the old temple, and might like to see it again.

Fuck the red store though.....

Could you stop by the bank and....never mind.....

Had family "vacation" there when I was 13. I remember it being very boring. My family never did Anything normal like, I dunno, Disneyland.

The red brick store is at Nauvoo, so that's off the list.

It might be worthwhile to take a look at the preserved
Sidney Rigdon house, across the street from the temple.

In 1832 Rgdon got disfellowshiped and nearly excommunicated,
when he demanded that the Kirtland Mormons build this
residence for him. Sidney eventually worked things out
with Joe Smith and resumed his leadership position as
second-in-command in Mormondom. And the house was built.

I wonder if there are any local legends, about Sid's
ghost wandering through the old rooms, at midnight?

They're almost as worthless as the gazillions of Federal Reserve notes that they're creating.

The Johnson farm is about ten miles down the road. It's where Joe got tarred and feathered. Kinda interesting.

Church of Christ owns the temple, and gives the tour. The whitney store is owned by the mormons, and they really put you through the tour.
