The Mormon Church is, for legal purposes, considered to be a person. OK.... then does this person tithe?

If not, WHY not?

Churches are normally incorporated as "non-profit"and therefore pay no taxes on contributions and property used for specific purposes. That comes with all sorts of rules as to what that corporate body can and cannot do. It seems to me that at some point the lds will need to have its non-profit status invalidated.
