Has anyone ever gone up as if they were to share a testimony but ended up coming out to everyone instead?

I wonder how far they'd let me go before turning off the mic and escorting me out...

"wow. my heart is beating so fast, it must be a sign. I'd be so ungrateful if i didn't come up here and share with all of you what I know to be true. I know that 'by their fruits ye shall know them', and by this rule I testify to you brothers and sisters that by all latter day evidence, the book of Abraham is a complete fabrication, and that Joseph Smith is a fraud....etc" lol

Don't know why I am laughing but, this is pure genius.
Wish Monty Python were still doing their thing.
Would make a great skit.

The last testimony I ever bore, yes I came close to kamikaze-ing. The first half I spoke about a frien in her 60's who left the church along with her husband who had been a bishop, along with half of their five grown children, left after doing extensive in-depth research from church sources. If you research church sources to find the truth, the church proves itself to be false.

Oops but I didn't go into that much detail when I kamikaze-ed. Suffice to say I felt refreshed and unburdened after bearing my anti-testimony that day, and I left the congregation some food for thought. I had a couple of refreshing conversations with ward members after that. TBMs who finally admitted they've had doubts too.

It'd be fun to kamikaze a member of the Q12/15's ward, and to get it on video/Youtube..

The closest thing I've seen is a video where a guy got up there and severely criticized prop 8 during the time it was being promoted. They turned off the mic. and drug him off the podium.

I often picture what would happen if I got up there in my current frame of mind. It wouldn't be pretty.

I've imagined myself doing just that a lot, but would never actually do it. It's their party, so I won't crash it.

Maybe I put the high council to sleep. I was a half hour or so into my defense before I started letting them know how I felt about TSCC. But they all had their eyes open. I spoke straight on for a solid hour. I had spoken only months earlier at a F&T without being stopped but had quoted Oaks, for example. So many liked my testimony - one without a word about TSCC being true or Monson, or Smith being a prophet, or even "the church is troo".

A few years ago a devopmentally disabled girl joined the ward. I stayed for the confirmation, but had to use the ladies' room and left for the first part of her "I'm so glad I found the gospel" talk. Boy did I miss it.

The next thing I know, I hear sounds of dismay...the congregation was nearly wailing!LOL Next thing (keep in mind that I'm in a stall and can't see anything outside of said stall) I hear the sound of something that sort of sounds like candy being unwrapped...and I can still hear a commotion in the sacrament hall. THEN I smell cigar smoke...wha?

Turns out that after the confirmation she stood up to give her talk and told all those happy Mormon faces that their Church was false and that they were all going to HELL!!!!!!! Mic-off! She ran off the stage and into the ladies'room. (Where I guess the penisholders were too afraid to go.LOL) She lit a cigar just to really piss em off.

Couldn't the leadership of the Ward discern that she was faking? Weren't there interviews...during which the Lard should have whispered "NO!" to the Bishop?

That's as close as I've ever been to a Kamikaze.
