I was opening my mail, tonight. In it was a letter from TSCC and, guess what.

It was a letter telling me that as per my request, I have been removed from their records.

I didn't even send in a request.

Maybe god told them I wanted to be left alone...

Yeah right.
No, it must have been the bishop whom I told I wouldn't write a letter because I didn't see them as having any authority of any kind. The tscc is no different than any other "for profit" organization that has my information.

No different than the spammers that have my email address and I would ignore them in the same way I ignore spam.

How unorthodox. This is a first.

I'm mystified.

But, congratulations anyway! Woooooo Hoooooo!!

I was thinking the same thing.

Why would they do me a favor, now, when they would do absolutely nothing for me the whole time I was TBM????

Wow. I had to fight for 5 months to get out, and you got out without even trying. LOL They aren't exactly consistent, are they?

Sorry to hear that.

I guess that's what you call a 'non-try'.

Maybe they just wanted to F*** with you...

You should tell your mormon neighbors, etc., about the miracle.

That's weird. You would think they would just ex you if you didn't request name removal and weren't being compliant.

Either way...CONGRATS!

cl2,
I will tell them all;
if they will ever talk to me, the apostate, again... lol

F*** 'em.

goldenrule, I made it pretty clear to the bishop that they had no authority and, therefore, I didn't recognize them as anything. Period.

I guess they decided that the effort of bringing me to a love court wasn't worth it. I feel sooo unworthy. ;-)

Yeah, the only other thing I can think of is that the bishop knew you wanted out but he also knew you weren't going to do anything about it, in the meantime messing up his records with a longer list of inactives than necessary.

At some point I think the bishopric and stake guys have to know that having a LOT of inactives on the rolls isn't "faith affirming" for the childlike who still believe and work for the hive.

Oh wait, it's not "inactives" anymore. Some years back we were told to call people who didn't come to church, "less active." So much nicer that way, you know?

May I offer my congratulations. It took me two months and I had to beg 'em in an email.

All I have to say, is...

Awwww, F*** 'em!

Thank you to you all for responding.

I really have detached myself from their insanity.

All I can see is them trying to save face.

I wonder if this is anything to do with how Wards are now allocated funds?
