in that funny Jay way he has he said "Utah is kind of an odd state to start arguing for traditional marriage." That's for sure. What is with these polygamists shows on now. We have Breaking the Faith and Sister Wives. They are calling attention to LDS in general but is it helping TSCC or hurting it?

No Bad Publicity-(?)

LDS, Inc. I propose is a (possible) exception.

I think the church is an exception, too.

Bad publicity is good if you wnat notoriety, exposure. But it is bad if you want people to identify your group as a moral, safe, reasonable place.

People may want to watch Miley Cyrus, the Kardashians, and Charlie Sheen, but they don't want to follow them as spiritual leaders.

Hinckley once said that the Hofmann fiasco was the greatest danger to the church since polygamy. Well, guess what!
