A pretty interesting read:

In some ways I'm more intrigued that they found a "cresent" that far west.

Interesting, thanks.
What is a "crescent"?

(I'm picturing something to go with coffee...)

Fascinating. And yet another testament that the Book of Mormon is true! I'm sure the carbon dating is wrong. You can't trust science you know. I "feel" that those crescents are from the Nephite times since they look obviously Jewish, and perhaps were used to repair chariot wheels, comb the horses tails, and probably perform circumcisions.

P.S. I enjoyed reading that. Thanks.

Oh, there was steel. It is just what they called abalone shells in Nephite times. I really wish the Mormon Church would publish a glossary as a companion to the BoM. It would be so much easier to keep track of it all.

BYU Engineeering students tried to replicate a fine steel crossbow and ended up with something the size of a howitzer? Maybe there do it every year but I try not to pay much attention to BYU activities. It's worth seeing if you haven't already.
