I had a question, but now I have a wonderment

The Lamanites were dark and loathsome, then a bunch of them became white and delightsome when they became Christians, then became jerks again and then were turned....dark and loathsome again? How many DNA skin-tint flip flops could they take? I know the BoM plot is good-bad-good-bad in endless repetition, but jeez, is that wrong or I did never think of that?

stupid.

P.S. My original question was: Is there an apologists' explanation of why the Elizabethan English in the BoM doesn't follow the rules of real Elizabethan English. M'think only comments that there isn't a response...)
