I was watching the video my SIL put online of her son's mission call to Mexico and noticed two weird things. One, he's supposed to report to the Provo MTC - not the Mexico MTC. The other is the line in the letter that said "Your call may be modified according to the needs of the mission president." I assume this would be like a girl I know who was called to Texas English speaking and was switched to Spanish speaking when she arrived in the mission field - had to learn the language while working as a missionary. Or my friend's husband who had the same thing happen but with sign language. But I don't remember that sentence being in my mission call letter. How long has it been there and is it simply a language thing or could he be transferred to a different mission - or anything else out of the ordinary. Maybe become a temple worker, although I'm not sure there is one in his mission boundaries. Anyone know.
