Ok, I had to delete the link on this because it was going through my profile, BUT, it's this guy talking about how he 'conquered porn addiction and acting on his same sex attraction' to get a temple recommend.... One of my TBM family members 'liked' his post, which is how I saw it. But, if you want to try looking him up, his name is John Taylor Sargeant and he has a big long post about it.

I mean......'I don't have to be perfect'. Seriously- he has to live without love and companionship! Nobody has to be 'perfect' to get a temple recommend, but what TSCC requires of homosexuals is in my opinion cruel.

It's so horrible how intensely the church can screw with your head. Sadly, it was not all that long ago that I would have read this and thought how wonderful it was. The reality is that it is increadibly sad. He is sacrificing so much for some pretend goal. Im mad at myself for chasing this pretend goal for all of my life. what a head game!
