Hi we have a CALM meeting for anyone who wants to come and talk about their issues with Mormonism. It meets on the fourth Thursday every month at Kafeneio, 258 W 3300 S, Salt Lake City at 6:30 PM. We meet in the backroom and we will have a sign ;) SLC Posmos

For those of us that don't know, what is CALM?

Google God says that it is an acronym for Community After Leaving Mormonism.

Our CALM meetings are different than a mere meetup event at a coffee shop.

CALM meetings are more a bit more structured and more like a group discussion. Often people are invited to tell their stories or relate their experiences. Often a specific issue is advanced as a discussion topic and people can address the topic from their experience.

Our experience is that CALM meetings are very useful and beneficial for comparing experiences and learning how others have coped with specific issues.
