The religious discussion with my parents continues. Now we're on Jacob 5 regarding the olive tree parable. Any one got a good reference for a review of that chapter? Sorry this is so short, but need to get back out with my family.

1. Olive trees don't grow in vineyards. They grow in orchards. So the overriding lesson in Jacob 5 is: grape growers should stick to growing grapes and quit trying to grow trees in their vineyards.
2. Neither grapes nor olive trees were cultivated in the Americas prior to the arrival of Europeans. Olive trees in fact are not native to the Americas. So the whole chapter is one big anachronism and further evidence that the book of mormon is fiction.
