Good News!

I guess I said in here somewhere along the way that my youngest (22) son was in jail on a probation violation (bonehead). Anyway, got a call yesterday and he completed his State of Texas High School Equivalency (GED)!!! Whoop!

Been so long since I've been proud of something he did that we both cried on the phone. LOL Imagine that! He said he saw all those others that had passed through that jail and finished it that he wanted his picture on the wall of fame too.

Just sayin'...

That is really good news for you and yes. Something to be very proud of. I wish this for my nephew. He is coming to live near us and I just really want him to get his high school equivalency. He is so smart, but been on his own since he was 17, fending for himself. Missed a lot of high school and just quit going. I would be so proud and happy for him.

I had a sibling who spent sometime in jail. Now is a very successful person. I love 'em to death. Congrats to your boy!
