Why does NO Apostle testify that he has SEEN Jesus?

I don't buy the excuse that it is 'too sacred' to share, because it evidently wasn't too sacred for JS and Paul et al

After all, these are supposed to be 'special witnesses!' If they have not seen Jesus, then how are they special, and why should we follow them? If they have not seen and spoken with Jesus then they are no more special than us!

Closest thing I ever heard was SWK GC PS mid 70"s...he was talking about some dead guys testimony and how he saw the savior and then SWK says in affect..."I bear that same testimony to you." That's the most I've heard from any of them.
