The poll is slowly trending toward "No" to agreeing with Packer, but this is one of the slowest Pharyngulations of a poll I've ever seen. There must be a mormon voting block pushing it the other way.

We definitely need to make more people aware of the poll so they can vote.

The tide is turning. It's now 69.7% disagreeing with the packed statements.

65.8% "No" this morning. That percentage of "No" is fairly good for a result when battling morgbots, but in most other communities in the USA, it would be considered a tragedy to see about 35% of the people agreeing with a guy who advises adults to have no sex whatsoever unless it is approved by an old bigot who can't get his facts straight.

While I am glad to see the numbers shift to a 2 to 1 disageement with Packer, Mormons can spin whatever outcome to their own favor. If the stats agreed with Packer, they would take it as a vast agreement with LDS leadership on the subject of homosexuality. If the numbers disagree with Packer - as they have - it is proof that the Mormons are oppressed and therefore true because of the opposition to their viewpoint.

It is convoluted way of thinking but has the desired effect for the faithful.
