Packer's original statement that asked "why would our Heavenly Father do that to anyone" was a question I asked myself as a gay man....

and knowing that I did not choose to be gay, was a question that helped me leave the Mormon cult and go on to question the very existence of God.

Packer might get a lot more people thinking this way. This ignorant, sex obsessed fossil may be the catalyst for rational Mormons to actually begin thinking and exiting this anachronistic cult.
