Got my "Dodge" letter today

My pamphlet has a 2008 copyright on it with a picture of The Cletus on the front and a portrait of the first prezidency on the inside cover (suitable for framing). It is a shiny, glossy affair. I know that TSCC has its own printshop, but I find it interesting that they have enough people sending in letters for them to go through the effort to make such a pamphlet.

The best part of that retarded pamphlet is that it apologizes if you were offended. Somehow, I think most people do not resign over that reason..even though for some it's the straw that broke the camels back as of late.

The "hope you weren't offended" pissed me off too. In their poor brainwashed heads there's no other reason anyone would want to leave. As mentioned, with the Prop 8 fiasco this is a much more valid reason, but it was in the pamphlet long before prop 8.

Or how about "we invite you to return to the church and participate in the happiness you once knew" Have they not a clue? What a stupid ass thing to say. But so mormon.So I suggest we all repent and go back to church!!!

I kept mine, but I was pissed that they sent it to me. It was like one more guilt trip to try to bring me back into the fold. Well congradualtions anyway.

I never got my pamphlet. They were so sick of me that when I resigned directly and in person with a member of the twelve, well he must have run it right over to Dodge. I got a letter the very next day that said,

"Per your request you name has been removed from the membership records of the church".

One sentence, signed Dodge

The end

I've always wanted to see that pamphet
