I find that a nice shot of tequila now and then does the same for me.

Just sayin'...

So many years of being away, as I drive by a ward house it seems so so sterile and the people going in and out seem so unhappy. At work, I rarely find a person brave enough to mention their mormon faith, they are so different than the rest of us normal people that they have begun to huddle in protective groups.

All of this is in SLC, the mecca of mormonism!

The only place that they seem somewhat excited is walking around the compound (aka T-Square)... There they are part of something large and tangible, yet untouchable in my opinion. It is a stone shrine encased in a rule defined as "look but don't touch".

I don't hate it, but I do feel sorry for the herds of people wandering through life knowing nothing but lies.

One of my sayings to TBMs. "Just because you belive something,,don't make it true." Don't hate them,,just don't tolerate them pushing it in my face.

I show my hate sometimes. Since I am surrounded by 8 steeples, and I have to drive by a stake center every time I go anywhere, I like to do something on Sundays.

I know it is immature and childish, but it makes me feel fun. I always go shopping on sunday. Who wouldn't? The stores are empty, and it is always fun seeing who has garmies on under their suits and dresses. Anyway, I honk for a long time and flip off the building as I drive by.

Now, the flipping doesn't do much for anyone else, but I figure maybe they are in sacrament meeting and they can definitely hear the honking.

I know, grow up.

there is something else that LDS inc does that makes it even worse for farmers. they compete with them business wise
LDs inc is heavy into agri industry, farming & ranching. they use your dads offering money, volunteer labor & their tax exmept status to compete with him in his farming business, GREAT!

I hate it too. Not the people mind you. There are folks I love dearly who are trapped in it. But I do really hate the organization.
