Twist it, Re-wrap it and Control it.

I thought it would be fun to list ways the church controls their members by twisting truths and containing them in quaint phrases the members can use when necessary to diffuse exmormons or those with unacceptable questions:

1. Discontinued Doctrine = Modern Day Revelation
2. Online historical research = exmormon literature
3. LDS.org = Faith Promoting material
4. Not being given a temple recommend = practicing free agency
5. ex member = apostate
6. Polygamy = protection for the unmarried woman
7. Conflicting history and information = "I know this church is true"

5. ex-member = sinner, weak, lazy, satan's tool = much more effective damage control than just apostate

I hate it when somebody says the excact same thing I wanted to say first...

Well, you could add "offended" in there somewhere, implying there was perhaps a bit of "Christian Intolerance" that let Satan find an opening...
