The more I read and think, the more I realize how much fear has played a role in keeping me active, but no more!

1.) Follow the gospel or you can't be with you loved ones.\
2.) Sexual sins just under murder for seriousness of sin.
3.) The last days are upon us...repent.
4.) Pay your tithing or you will not get to go to the temple.
5.) You cannot get to the celestial kingdom without knowing the temple rituals.
6.) Your sins will be played for all to see at the final judgment.
7.) You must have a temple marriage.
8.) You must attend church or lose your priesthood.

I could probably go on forever. The biggest fear when I was a kid was.... that I used to think if I could make it to about 2010, then I would at least experience marriage and a family.

Please add to my list of fears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pay your tithes or something horrible will happen to you and your family monetarily, like losing your job.

Apostates are bitter and miserable and your life will be ruined if you leave the church.

Good list.

Fear is used to keep people submissive. Especially in the case to what most people hold close to their hearts.. family "If you don't follow these rules you won't be with your family. Now give us your 10% and a generous fast offering as well, damnit. We don't care your poor..."

God and his profits want you to be fearful and weak.

1 Corinthians 2:3 I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.

I think god is into BDSM, he's the master, and he wants you to fear.

Pay your tithing or you will be burned...how bad is that.

Pay your tithing or you cannot participate in important social milestones in your children's lives, and there will be social stigma placed upon you (i.e. blessing your newborn, baptizing your 8 year old, setting your son apart for Penishood callings, Giving you child a fathers blessing, etc.)

Pay your tithing or you will be separated from your spouse and children forever. You will go to hell.
