Did you see a movie entitled "There Will Be Blood" - came out in 2007 or 2008 I think?
A certain character in the movie is portrayed as a false prophet in the western United States in the late 19th-early 20th century (I think). The character is a young teen when he begins his career as a prophet and I wondered at the time if the character was modeled after Joseph Smith. My husband is a TBM and while he loved the movie, was slightly uncomfortable with the portrayal of that character.
Just wondered if anyone else thought the same thing?

Just remembered that it got an R-rating so most mo's probably didn't watch it. Good movie though.
