Where does it say that? I have heard the perscription drug thing, and they give the least amount of money to education, even though their scores are higher. But living in Mississippi we are always told we are the most obese state, as well as the poorest. Kind of funny how those two go together. I can tell you that I noticed a huge difference in people's waist sizes when I moved to Mississippi. Gained a little bit myself, not much though.

Obviously you haven't been here or are posting out of ignorance. Most Utahns are very active outdoorsy people that exercise, hike, bike, ski, and you name it. This is definitely not a couch potato, lazy state. Fat we aren't...you will need to move much further east to find fat. Sorry, but you are wrong on this one.

She will readily acknowledge that Utah leads the nation in Prozak consumption, but quickly adds that it is because people in Utah don't use alcohol to deal with depression.

Next time, ask her why so many mormons are dealing with depression. Wonder what her response would be.
