It's been 45 days since Dodge acknowledged receipt of my resignation. Today I emailed him a second time, reminding him of that timing and instructing him to process my name removal without further delay. I'll nag him once a week until I get my letter. And in every email, I say, "I realize you and your staff are extremely busy processing the thousands of resignations of which you are notified each week".

Won't expedite anything, but I'm hoping to irritate him a little. It's my journey, I figure I deserve to have a little fun with it.

This is as a good place to post this question as any. When I resign I'll be resigning by email. I REALLY don't want to post my address, do I have to add my address?

What's the email address?
I know someone who wants to resign today.

You could try calling him..........

As I understand it, once you send it in, you are resigned according to law, so congrats, you are no longer a member. The rest is just their processing of it which shouldn't concern you, as you are no longer a member.
