I don't see a hard drive listed as one of the features. I bet that was extra and probably a lot extra.

Looking back, it seems pitiful in comparison to current computers, but to me, it was heavenly. For the first time, I had internet access in my home.

I had done all of my graduate program papers on that computer, and it represented a real step up from the typewriter of my undergraduate days! I thought that word processing was the best thing ever. No more typos and endless bottles of white-out!
