This may be the most confusing thing to me in Mormonism after you start researching.

I certainly can't speak for everyone, but I tried to be an honest member. I was a convert, and it was important to me. I always liked the "CTR" philosophy.

I have to assume that there are others within the LDS faith that feel that way. How do they justify not telling the real history? Isn't choosing the right meant to keep people honest? Is it "right", in their words, to keep feeding the members and investigators false information?

I do not understand...

Suppressing the truth about their history, indoctrinating children to be mindless robots, and pumping out millions each year for public relations is DEFINITELY CHOOSING THE RIGHT...

If you're a corporation generating billions in tithing revenue every year, paying no taxes, and under no obligation to disclose to anyone how the money is spent.

But a honk of my horn for "m's" restroom ditty above...

It's not easy to make me jealous, but you succeeded...

Its a gimmick. Its a fun little saying the church has coined and they make $$ off it, and I think thats the bottom line.

Sadly, I think it means nothing to the church, for VERY obvious reasons.

now that i think about it, "choose the right" does seem to apply fairly well across the board when mormons go to vote, doesn't it?

(insert masonic conspiracy theories here)
