Studies show that it reduces chance of colon cancer, liver disease...

It regulates insulin...

And swedish women who drink 5 or more cups a day have a lower chance of developing breast cancer.

They concluded by saying the benefits outweigh the downsides of coffee...

I hope SLC was watching!

I found another, it's a video link.
Basically a doctor saying if coffee makes you feel good, go for it.

You are right, TBM's won't touch coffee, and they do pound the diet Coke, and cake, and cookies and ice cream and jello and donuts and lots of red meat and potatoes and, and , and... There are lots of unhealthy things that they do consume, and I'm not saying I don't eat any of those things, but the perspective is so terribly unbalanced.

When I was first leaning toward vegetarianism many years ago, I used to bring up to my TBM friends and family about the injunction in the WoW about eating meat sparingly, and only in times of winter, or of cold, or of famine. But they laughed me to scorn, citing the need for lots of protein to stay strong and healthy. I know it's an unpopular position generally, as most red-blooded Americans love their meat, and I'm not militant about my views. But it just seemed so hypocritical to me that they would be so quick to heed the call not to consume coffee, tea, or alcohol, but they wouldn't even consider giving up just a little bit of their precious red meat.

TBMs won't touch a cup a joe but pound the diet coke like there's not tomorrow. Looks like the diet pop is far worse for you.

WOW is right. Amazing that anyone still feels the need to have SLC tell them what to eat/drink.

Drinking lots of coffee was found to significantly reduce risk for fatal prostate cancer. The Harvard study involved almost 48,000 men.

"They found that men who downed the most coffee - six or more cups a day - were nearly 20 percent less likely to develop any form of prostate cancer and a whopping 60 percent less likely to develop lethal prostate cancer (that which causes death or spreads to the bones).

Not such a java junkie? You can reduce your risk for lethal prostate cancer by about 30 percent if you drink one to three cups a day, the study suggested."

Hmmm, and didn't I see somewhere that not getting regular sexual release (masturbating) can cause prostate problems too? Double whammy on the super TBM's. And here I always thought they all walked like that cuz of a stick up their butts. Now I know.

Coffee also decreases the risk of head injury. Without it, I would surely suffer a concussion from my comatose skull slamming against my desk at 3pm. Seriously.

The prohibit coffee and they prohibit masturbation, both which benefit the prostate. It is clear they are anti-prostate.

That stuff goes right through you!
I like a cup a day, but six to 10? I don't know how I would be able to eat any solid food!!
