I will return and report Matt. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm hoping to get some advice from the experts whilst I'm there.

I've chosen a British warrior queen as my moniker but I like the twist when I shorten it to Briggy.

Also, Briggy is a comedy characterisation used by a British comedian Jasper Carrot. His character Briggy is a nerd.

It is therefore, a multi-faceted moniker.

:-)

My wife and her friend plan to go tomorrow.

Have you got your press registration done? ;o))

Do you remember her, the Greek Islander? She's in the UK and we're just going to enjoy the day together.

I'll be wearing my 'gardening fanatic' hat on Sunday.

We have a tractor and quilt show combination at the county fair grounds today and tomorrow. It won't be as exciting as your Gardners' world show.

My wife is a garden writer, but mainly it will be about buying plants for the garden, this time, I suspect!

And a show at the county fair grounds is always good, Sandie!

Gardener's Question Time?

I love that show with its typically British, unruffled presentation, and it's full of great gardening tips stemming from real people's questions.

Unfortunately, not all of its recommendations work where I am, in Paris, because we are a little bit warmer - and A LOT DRIER ;-)

No, it is connected to the BBC TV Show Gardener's World. Worth watching if you can catch it,

Briggy, looks like my wife and her friend aren't going to be able to go. All the on the door tickets have gone for Saturday, and perhaps for Sunday.

paid $5.00 at a door. One year the vendors complained about this and people didn't have to pay to peruse their quilt products for purchase.

When I was told that I had to pay $5.00 just to purchase from the vendors, I thanked the lady for her time, turned around and left the fair grounds. My feet did what my pocket book was not willing to do. Then I contacted my favorite quilt shop here locally and complained.

Maybe the quilt guild hosting this will think this through and allow people to enter the vendor's section of the quilt show without payment next year.

The monitor at fair ground's gate stated that others had complained to him that they had to pay to access the vendors. I wasn't the only one that had a problem with this.

I spent my $5.00 on a soft taco, cinnamon crisps, and a sprite. With a couple of $s left over in change.
