Name removal in UK

Hello all.
I am looking to get my name, and my two childrens name removed from LDS records, but i am in the UK.

What is the process in the UK ?
Does anyone have any experince of this ?

Hi.

Write a letter to the local Mormon Bishop, telling him you want to resign.

Dear Mr x, my name is Mr Y and I am writing to you to inform you that as of the date of this letter I and my two children, a and b, have resigned our membership of the LDS Church.

I am aware of the alleged consequences of this resignation. As I now consider myself to no longer be a member of the LDS Church I do not require a visit from either yourself or any other representation of your church as I do not beleive you have any ecclesiastical authority over me, or any ecclesiastical duty toward me or my children.

Please forward the enclosed copies of this letter to the appropriate departments within your church.

Yours truly,

Mr Y.

Don't give any reasons, you don't have to. Do NOT use the title Bishop or the title Brother.You have already resigned, so he is not your Bishop or your Brother.

Include two copies which he can send to the Stake and membership records.

I resigned in the UK a few years back.
