While passing through southern Illinois, Joe finds some old bones. Joe exclaims: “These are the bones of the white Lamanite Zelph, a warrior under the prophet Onandagus, known from the Atlantic to the Rocky Mountains.”

He stumbles upon some old Egyptian papyri, and guess what? They “contain the writings of Abraham” and on “another, the writings of Joseph of Egypt.”

He finds a pile of rocks and proclaims that “upon this very altar Adam himself offered up sacrifices to Jehovah.”

Will the luck of this man never cease?

He is shown the Kinderhook plates, and yes, you guessed it, another amazing find. How fortunate to stumble upon a record of a person that “…was a descendant of Ham, through the loins of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.”

There seems to be a pattern here.
