I had a discussion with a Church leader about changing beliefs. I articulated that people change over time as they learn, develop and grow, as do their beliefs. He articulated that people had no right to change their beliefs. I asked him about Agency. He responded by telling me that Agency only exists up to the point you are baptised and then go through the temple. After that you are not supposed to have any questions etc you are to just believe everything and obey, even the stuff you have doubts about.
