Try Http://Mormon.org/me/1474

I shared the link with my friend via email and it showed up as Mormon.org/me/1474# and did not work. Also, if you search Mormon.org using her name, she will not show up.

Edit Update: I just tried the link I posted and it redirected me to Mormon.org. Ugh!

Edit update #2: And now it works! looks like the church keeps changing it's mind - surprise!

Has anyone else noticed that some of the male profiles out there are really, really, creepy. Like this one:

http://mormon.org/me/2VRM/

"Hi, I'm Kellan

I'm a mormon, and i like turtles."

He's an unmarried RM. I wonder why? /sarc

"I like turtles" is an internet meme.

Right, but isn't it creepy to use that on a page that is supposed to make Mormon's look normal?

Or perhaps he believes in Zombies?

Seriously - the moustache is fake and, well, the glasses look like a pair my grandpa wore in the 1960's.

;o)

rt, I just spent the past half hour trolling the men 50+ in my region of the South. Bleah!

Somebody slap me back to reality.

;o)

when I was in my early 20s and I'd go to YSA dances with them--meaning anything older than 30 or so--but I'm talking the men at these dances were more like 60+. Guess who was asked to dance endlessly (and I was the type who was afraid to turn them down) while the women more their age they never asked.

They'd say things like, "I haven't seen you at these dances before. Can I call you?" Ummm, No.

I learned after 2 dances to never go to these again.

Isn't it interesting that the link appears on this board and all of the sudden, puf Nikki is gone. I think we are indeed being watched.

It seems to be on and off (or up and down). I just tried http://mormon.org/me/1474/ and it worked just fine. When I tried earlier, it didn't.

I guess their server isn't used to serious traffic. Who visits mormon.org anyway?

None of the links work now - I guess she's definitely deleted from the matrix.

Oh, hi folks! This is Nikki again. Thankfully, I'm not in outer darkness yet. I just googled to see if there was any further discussion on the topic, so I'm sorry I'm late to the thread.

Yes, my profile has been inaccessible for a long time now. Even after sending in my resignation papers, I could still log in and see/edit my profile myself, but even that is finally gone too. My husband & I got our letters of confirmation that the resignations are complete a couple of weeks ago, so apparently deactivating the mormon.org login (and access to ward/stake directories) is part of that official process. Strangely, I can still log in to lds.org and it knows my name ("Welcome, Nikki G***") but going to the ward/stake directory page gives me a big "Access Denied - You are not authorized to access this page." Not that I really needed to use the directory, I was just curious how thorough they were.
