Thanks to poster Socrates2 for this mental image.
I once heard him describe the impassioned testimony from TBMs this way. Not the normal Fast and Testimony ones, but the ones when they find out you no longer believe and they want to bring you back. It's like a little dog who humps your leg. They're obviously worked up about it and are getting something from the experience. As the target of the humping it's not quite the same. Mostly just an awkward situation you have to endure in the name of civility.
Well last night at the family Christmas party I had my leg humped 3 or 4 times.
The best was from a guy who has started his own business. He works very hard on anything he does so I'm not surprised that he's finding success. He's also smart and capable so again, no surprise that his hard work is paying off. Well it turns out his work didn't contribute at all. Nope. It's having a son on a mission! Yep. That's the secret to his success. And if the blessings continue then he's going to be a mission president! That is his ultimate dream.
Good luck with that.
