In the Bible & BoM, Christ says that the only justification for divorce is 'fornication' (adultery).
Therefore, as Christ said it, I think it's Important; fits with ChurchCo sayings about Family...
My wife divorced (now apostate) me, I didn't commit adultery, she didn't allege or suggest it.
Mormons claim to have a 'living prophet' who tells us the important things we need to know (+,btw, a few others)
wife gets a TR after the divorce.
Now, mormons tell me that 'Christ's words regarding divorce are no longer in effect' in the church...
I say: on what authority? when was that changed?
Looking back, I see it written that BY charged (supposedly 10$) for divorces...
Q: was the Fornication/adultery EVER church practice? was it EVER the 'real' policy of ChurchCo?
.... Not as far as I can determine... NEVER
