I have a dear friend whose mother died last year and her lds neighbors won't leave her alone. Last week they invited her to a talk being given by a Mr. Chase (?) It was on the Book of Revelation and the end times. She accepted their invitation. She told me tonight that this man also spoke about Joseph Smith,(surprise, surprise) and he said that the BOM must be true because Joseph Smith was illiterate. He could not read or write. So how could he possibly have written the BOM except by divine inspiration. I know that Joseph was not highly educated, but he could read and write. Please help. I need sources, what ever you can offer.
