I read somewhere that the Davies story was going to go public so they were forced to discipline him. Otherwise they would have dealt (or not) with it privately and let him stay on the team, like they did with McMahon & probably many others. In the mean time, the fornicators who are not superstar athletes are expelled. If BYU were really serious about their honor code they would kick him out. But they want him for next year, don't they?

My feeling is that if they expel Brandon from BYU, he won't be back. And they're well aware of that.

At least his girlfriend (a volleyball player for Arizona State) doesn't have to worry about losing her scholarship or being expelled from school. This entire incident will give college-bound Mormon kids a lot to think about.

He should have gone to Syracuse. They used to buy cars for the star players. That would include a Porsche. It's all about money for the school. SU doesn't do that sort of thing anymore.

Sports are the cash cow for many schools. Remember the Ohio State players that didn't know how to read?

Just read a story that he's not playing but did travel to Las Vegas for the tournament. Coach flipping off the school? Cuz suspended players usually don't travel with the team do they?
