Romney a "new" anti-abort­ionist? Let me help you untangle this skein of positions-­-it can be hard to figure out what he stood for before he stood for something else. He never believed in abortion, otherwise he would have never risen in the hierarchy of Mormon leadership­. And rise he did, from Bishop to Stake President and as such, he convened official Mormon "Courts of Love" which are meetings to call members to repentance by formally excommunic­ating them for serious sins like...abo­rtion. Mitt Romney said he was NOT, absolutely NOT a cafeteria Mormon but one who believes in every tenet. He also said he lives by his faith. Take him at his word people and find out what he has always believed. It's a map out of the maze of Romney stances: he was lying to the people of Massachuse­tts because it was politicall­y expedient.

The key to understanding Mittens is mormonism. Just as mormonism will change doctrine, revise policy and override past prophets at the drop of a hat to please the current crowd, Mitt does exactly the same thing. He seems to have no concept of principle-based values and consistency, rather like the cult, HE HIMSELF is the only principle and value, no matter how obvious his lies or useless his policy recommendations.

Why are y'all talking about about abortion? This is about flip flops. They have to explain his flip flops after The Leadership outlawed them a couple years back.
