Here's me at home in a garment top that I tie-dyed. The tie-dye doesn't take very well to 50/50 cotton poly, but I still think it improves the garment.

Lol! Love it!

You must have forgotten to wash the spiritual powers out. The holy ghost is tie-dye resistant...

LOL! I guess someone should bleach them first since that's the way to remove the white dye, plus they turn a gray color. At least, that's what I've learned from the Babycenter board, since there's often a thread about keeping them white and delightsome.

Oh, those hens LOVE to start and participate in the "just in case anyone forgot I'm in the secret club" threads.

Would bleaching really help? I was under the impression that the issue was the polyester that just doesn't accept the dye.

Another friend said that for the dye to work the material had to be very hot, i.e. soak them in VERY HOT water immediately before applying the dye.

Anyone have experience with either of these?

Do they play Grateful Dead music during your church services? Is the sacrament laced with LSD?

Jimi Hendrix talked about starting an electric church. I think you are onto something here.

Polyester doesn't take dye well, unless it's armpit stains. Nothing invented gets those out.
