More on the California LDS political duo of Patricia and Buck McKeon

Long-time Rep. Buck McKeon will become California's only LDS congressman next January, after Rep. Wally Herger retires. His wife Patricia is running for state Assembly. She has been paid $300K as a member of his staff over the past five years.

With respect to the ten cents for the grocery bag, in some European countries you bring your own bags (store neither supplies nor sells bags) and you do the bagging yourself. She seems to have a sense of entitlement, and if the merchant wishes to recoup the cost of bags by chargin ten cents, that should be their right in a free market economy.

I'm not sure I'd trust this LDS grandmother of 31 (married at age 18) to represent me in Sacramento, and from the tone of this article, this is not going to be a cake walk for her, in spite of her high name recognition.
