Decided to travel to Phoenix this weekend. Also, decided to attend the Easter Pageant that is held on the grounds of the Mesa Temple each year. Some observations (+/-):

1) Crowds weren't nearly what I remember when I was a kid.
2) Ridiculous lady behind me inviting a non-Mormon to the pageant 10 minutes before it got started. Best part is that the lady clearly lived in the area and had no idea where the "Mormon Temple" was. Lady behind me has to give her directions.
3) It felt like a Kim Jong Il performance. Recorded audio and just hand gestures for these "exquisite" actors. Just more cheesy.
4) My kids were beyond bored.
5) Actors walking around slowly/zombie like throughout the crowd before the performance. One sister missionary walked up to some kids before the 8PM start to let them know that they can actually ask the "Romans" if they can feel their swords. So freakin' dumb, I couldn't stand it.
6) Weather was nice and we had no traffic (left 10 minutes early).
