I just finished reading "The Real Romney" by Michael Kranish and Scot Helman. I thought it was a fairly even-handed and well-researched book. It helped me get to know Mitt better and cemented my decision not to vote for him this fall.

Thanks nonmoparents. To tell you the truth, I had a devil of a time finishing it-- I usually finish books within days if not weeks. This one took a couple of months. But I think the authors did a good job telling Mitt's life story.

Romney is one of the most boring, vanilla people in the world. A biography of him must read like a printer manual.

Yeah. As it turned out, the other books I have stacked up on my nightstand kept calling to me, not to mention the other ones on my Kindle.

The overall impression I got is that Romney will say or do ANYTHING to be president.
