Lost a fishin' buddy

No, he didn't die. It's worse. He got called to be a bishop. I doubt he'll have much spare time for the next few years, especially for worldly things like fly fishing.

He's the only TBM I have meaningful contact with anymore. We've been friends since childhood, and it will be interesting to see how this affects things.

I hope you haven't lost a friend and fishing buddy, but being a bishop is going to take a lot of his time. Maybe this is what he needs to see the light of mormonism.

I'm a long way from Utah. Now kickin myself for wasting 2 years at BYU without sampling the fine fishing Utah offers.

(I use a 5 wt too)
