A false church is headed by false prophets and false apostles teaching false doctrines and going to false temples performing false ordinances. They are living a masquerade.

All the people who are slightly depressed see how HAPPY everyone else is and it makes them more depressed?

And people who are depressed in NY see that everyone else is just as miserable as they are so they aren't so depressed?

What the heck?

Taking facts (Utah self reports as "happy" in large numbers but also kills themselves in large numbers) and turning that into -- yeah, but you're just more depressed because there are happy people around you -- is junk science at its finest.

Her "tips for improving life's outlook" struck me as trite psychobabble unlikely to help anyone who is clinically depressed and suicidal. I suffered through two years of postpartum depression.

"Everyone has down times and bad days"??? Clinical depression and suicidal thoughts is NOT just having a bad day.

"No, you aren't dangerously depressed, you're just having a few down days."

Arrrgggh!

Seriously, could it be more obvious that the author has never been suicidal?

It must be Satan. That's the only explanation.

For comparison, I was going to ask where Nevada was ranked, but they were actually number two. People throwing themselves in front of buses after loosing their life savings, or dying from cancer from the above ground nuke test might have effected the results though.

No mention of Mormonism as a contributing factor? Wendy Ulrich cannot be taken seriously as a psychologist.
