I have a question regarding the membership numbers. DH and I are listed on the membership rolls of the church, but our first child chose not to be baptized, and the second and third were not even asked. We are listed in the ward directory along with our children, despite never having attended. (We do receive VT and HT.)

Does LD$ Inc. count our children, because DH and I are on the rolls, so by extension our children?

I believe they count your children until they are nine years old. Especially if you had them blessed but probably even if you didn't. They used to count them until they turned eight and then if they weren't baptized, not so much but a few years ago they raised the age the counted children of baptized members to nine.

I wouldn't be surprised if they counted them twice.
