I thought your post was going to be about what the church and apologists say when TSCC's indefensible doctrine & history get backed into the inevitable corner.
I'm always amazed how they fail to notice what a big fat looser their heavenly father is. If some father treated his kids the way HF does he'd end up in prison or an asylum: - We don't want our kids to grow up to become obedient robots. - We don't demand them to "worship" us one day a week, in fact we'd think they are crazy if they did that. - We won't cut them out of our lives forever and ever for committing a mistake. - We don't demand a human sacrifice to be able to forgive them. - We don't hide our existence from them while teaching them it's immoral to not believe in us. e.t.c.
And the poor parenting skills of HF is showing in the numbers: A third of his kids had no qualms about rejecting his lunacy in the first place. (it's quite revealing that science have shown that only about a third of us will actually stand up against authority when authority is wrong). And and only a fraction of his kids will be welcome back to his presense. This plan is, aside from utterly nonsensical in every respect, a total failure even by their own admission!
The creation, arrival of man and fall are at the center of the Plan. For as in Adam all men die, all are made alive ....etc. The Atonement relies on very specific factors that are claimed to have happened at creation and the fall. If those things are just metaphors, then the atonement is likewise.
