This is to announce the release of Episode 3 on the origins of the Book of Mormon ("He Called Himself a Dangerous Man") at mormonleaks.com.

Each episode is in the format of a slide show. You can click through the slides and/or download a pdf copy of the presentation for a leisurely read. There are plenty of footnotes for further follow-up.

In Episode 1 ("Alternative Accounts"), we give essential information about the Book of Mormon, and we implicate Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery in its production.

In Episode 2, we introduce Solomon Spalding (Has “Old Come to Pass” Come to Life Again?), a man who died 16 years before the Book of Mormon was published. We explain who Spalding was and why early readers of the Book of Mormon suspected him of having contributed to it. We also summarize modern textual evidence implicating Spalding as an author.

In Episode 3 (He called himself a Dangerous Man), we focus on Sidney Rigdon. We connect him to Solomon Spalding, give eyewitness accounts of his bizarre and secretive writing activities in 1826-27 in Bainbridge, Ohio. We show that he was highly motivated to create a new American scripture, and we show evidence of his wordprint and pre-1830 theology sprinkled throughout the Book of Mormon.

We hope you find it helpful! There's much more to come!

You guys have taken a really complicated story and made a lot of sense out of it. This is great reading, it flows well. I look forward to seeing the next chapters.

Any hope of getting page numbers on each slide for reference?
