So my "we're forwarding your letter to the local stake president and bishop" letter was dated June 4th, and I received it on the 9th. I looked up the bishop on Facebook the next day and dropped him a note asking him to contact me. No response.

This past Tuesday I sent another email to the Records Department acknowledging receipt of the previous letter. I stated that since the local leaders haven't contacted me in three weeks, I would prefer they finalize the matter at their end, but if they must go through local channels to have the bishop or stake president call me (phone number provided).

I know that everything is final as of the second they received my original message. I'm just still curious if the local ward will even try to contact me. I'm leaning toward no.

Sounds like maybe not. You're out, brother! Sounds like they're just not so eager to lose ya ;)
