I know it's early but.....

What 3 states celebrate the 24th of July?



Missouri because they left, Utah because they got here, and California because they didn't make it!

You might add Texas, because the Nauvoo saints were seriously proposing that the feds set aside a huge swath of east Texas and nearby territory for them to take over....

Don't they celebrate the 24th in Eastern Idaho (Idaho Falls, Rexburg, etc.)?

I remember when living in Utah that July 24 certainly eclipsed July 4 in every way.

it's also the date NY State's gay marriage law took effect.

I would love to see a national gay marriage taking place on that day, with all the lovely couples headed to Palmyra for their nuptuals.
