I saw this on Facebook today. I guess this is what the Lord's health code is all about:

My sister put that on hers, and I found it annoying. I was trying to think of something sarcastic to say, that wouldn't destroy our relationship.

That's just really condescending. Whoever made that can have their milk & cookie. I only have milk for my cereal & cooking, & cookies are nasty & disgusting.

O.O What kind of cookies are you eating to call them disgusting???

Take that back. Cookies are awesome. Granted they are best in small doses, a sometimes food as a little blue monster has taught me. That said, the only business milk has in a martini glass, is if it is mixed with kahlua, poured over ice, and called a sombrero.

But I do like biscuits (the kind you have at tea), French macarons, & brownies/blondies.

Kahlua! Years ago I knew a TBM woman who said she liked Kahlua poured over vanilla ice cream for a sundae. ( I don't know if she added a cookie or not) She didn't consider this breaking the WoW I assume because she could still say she didn't DRINK alcoholic beverages. hahaha

Utah is the sugar state. No alcohol? Bring on the diabetes.

Shouldn't that be the blood of Christ in a martini glass?

My TBM sister once told me she wanted to make mocktails for some party she was doing, and martinis fit the theme. So she looked online for a "virgin martini" recipe.

Apparently Google answered with, "Put two olives in a glass. Enjoy."

She got a kick out of it.

As a kid, growing up Mormon, Mom would sometimes fix us "tea": a teacup with hot water, add a spoonful of sugar and a little milk. She called it "Mormon tea."

As an adult I learned that there is indeed a plant found in the western deserts (Nevada and Utah) that the Mormons did use to brew a hot beverage, and it is called "Mormon tea." Google it for photos, recipes, description (scientific name: Ephedra funerea).

Hmmm... I wonder why the church hasn't insisted that it be called "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints tea"?

That's the kind of tea I always had for tea parties when I was a little kid! A few times I even added some Nestle (now Nesquick) strawberry syrup.

Urg. That actually looks really good. I love cookies and milk. Something about warm chocolate chip cookies and cold milk are perfect. But yes, they have no business in that martini glass, and should really be replaced by some sort of awesome martini. I'll have that to drink with my dinner, and the cookies and milk for desert.

They have it wrong, I believe this one is called an obesity martini

I'm a little surprised they didn't ring the rim with chocolate first.

Except, we all know that milk is nonfat dry powdered milk bought from the bishop's storehouse. :P

It would be a more honest drink name if the glass was filled with koolaid.

Don, you crack me up. It took a couple of seconds, but I admit that I giggled like a school girl when I got it.
