What's up with www.cumorah.com?

Does anyone know what the deal with www.cumorah.com is? I noticed that the stats for church membership/wards/units have not been updated since 2008. Is the webmaster no longer updating it?

You could write the webmaster, David Stewart, to ask.

I can tell you that he's a physician and that this was a side project of his, so it might just be that he's too busy to update the site.

Also, the man who was responsible for the stake/ward/branch maps (originally on gatheringofisrael.com), Marc Schindler died in 2003, so I expect those may never be updated.

As an aside, back when I was a member I had occasion to frequently correspond with both men. I found them both to be upstanding people, even if I later outgrew our once common faith.
