Kind of O/T My beloved Oregon Ducks are playing ASU tonight!

I am so sorry to tell you that ASU is going DOWN!! Mr. scored awesome tickets/ seats to the game & I am so excited!

This week has been a total clusterf*ck. There will be tailgatiting with old friends, lots of booze, and a much needed break from reality. It aaalmost/ sort of makes up for me not being able to go to the exmo conference. But not really:( .....

I shall raise my beer bottle and toast all of you amazing rfmers! Cheers fellow escapees!

Have you seen the parody video of Gagnam Style on YouTube that stars the Oregon Duck? I've seen a number of the parodies but that one is pretty amusing.

I grew up in northern CA and ran track and cross country in high school in the early 70s, I was, of course, a big Prefontaine fan, and have always had a fondness for the Ducks though I never went to school there. I finally got to visit Eugene, Hayward Field, and Pre's Rock last October.

Anyway, now I work on the University of Alabama campus at the heart of Crimson Tide football. Been here for 21 years. I should love the Tide right? Nope. Hate it. Can't wait to head back west when I retire.

Just kidding. The "Civil War" of Oregon is this weekend?

Good, that means there will be killer deals on Pizza at the Pizza parlors in town. (Just like Super bowl Sunday)

I've often thought a reversible jacket of yellow and green to orange and black might be useful to market. : D!

I have a friend who is such a Beavers fan that he wore the red and white of the oposing team when the Ducks were playing them!(For those who don't know..the Ducks are yellow and green)
