I blogged a lengthy bit, expounding on thoughts about hating one's self, and how infallibility makes it worse. I'd love to hear feedback: was it clear? Did it make sense? Do you feel the same way? Why or why not?

I liked it. Though I might remove the asides like, "if you don't know what exacerbates means I hope you've looked it up by now." It gives your words an edge of hostility, even to a sympathetic reader. You could soften that with sympathetic humor, "Yeah I had to look it up too," or "Which it turns out isn't as dirty a word as it sounds," or something similar. I'd just tone down any condescending wording to avoid making the reader defensive.
